Polymechanic Certificate of Proficiency

Your four-year apprenticeship at Rollstar

Thanks to polymechanics, high-tech workpieces can be produced and new developments implemented.

The work is carried out on computer-controlled machines or on conventional milling and turning machines. Based on design drawings, polymechanics determine the machining steps, program complex workpieces and control the manufactured parts with high-precision measuring and testing instruments. They assemble devices, systems and machines or put them into operation.

We look forward to hearing from you!

My name is Tatiana, I am 15 years old and in my first year of apprenticeship as a polymechanic at Rollstar AG.

I am currently taking inter-company courses in Swiss mechanics at the vocational school in Lenzburg. Since the beginning of August I have been taking the manual manufacturing course. Next, I will get to know turning and milling more specifically in the machine manufacturing course.

In November I can go back to Rollstar and apply my new knowledge there. I’m looking forward to it!

My name is Marlon and I am in the second year of my apprenticeship as a polymechanic at Rollstar AG.

I am very satisfied with my workplace. I have versatile work during turning as well as during milling and the working atmosphere in this company I also find great.

I am looking forward to my ÜK courses, which I will complete this year, and that I can also apply what I have learned internally.

my name is Ewan, I am 17 years old and in my third year of apprenticeship as a polymechanic at Rollstar AG.

In the last year of my apprenticeship, I successfully completed my intermediate examination. Now I am looking forward to the coming time, as I will soon be able to take a company tour through the various areas of Rollstar. What I am most looking forward to is the gearing that shows me how our gears are made.

my name is Kai, I am 18 years old and am currently completing the 4th year of my apprenticeship in polymechanics at Rollstar AG.

What I like most about my learning is that it is so versatile. In the many areas of practical training in our field you can see many different processing methods and also the assembly of our products. At the moment I work in the drilling and milling area, but I'm already looking forward to my time with CAM programming. I hope to pass my final exams next spring and take the practical exam on an exciting machine.
